The National Cybersecurity Incident Response Center (Sudan-CERT), affiliated with the Authority, has issued a high-level security warning regarding a new wave of ransomware attacks specifically targeting small and medium-sized businesses in Sudan.
The warning explained that attackers are exploiting vulnerabilities in outdated operating systems and sending fraudulent emails containing malicious attachments.
